Terms and Conditions Release of Liability, Limitation of Responsibility, and Disclosures

 

MGT Group LLC (MGT) acts solely as a booking agent for hotels, bus companies, ground transportation, local providers, and other independent contractors and suppliers providing food transportation, guides, accommodation, and other services. MGT is not the provider of travel services and does not own or operate any entity, independent contractors, or suppliers.

 

MGT Group LLC is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person, company supplier, or any other third party. The customer and/or traveler release MGT Group LLC from its negligence. In addition, and without limitation, MGT Group LLC is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services, whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failures of airplanes or other means of transportation, or any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

 

MGT Group LLC reserves the right to accept, reject, or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the group's interests.

 

To cancel the tour and/or itinerary and any part of it and to change and/or alter the itinerary at any time it considers appropriate or necessary. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

 

There is a non-refundable booking deposit per person to reserve an international trip.

 

Final payment before departure must be received on or 120 days before the tour date. If the final payment is not received by the final due date, the reservation is subject to cancellation, and payments and/or deposits will not be refunded.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation before the departure date after payment will be subjected to the following:

  • On and after 60 days before the tour date, the traveler and/or customer will lose the non-refundable booking fees and 100% of all payments.

  • On and after 90 days before the tour date, the traveler and/or customer will lose the non-refundable booking fees and 50% of all payments received.

  • On and 180 days before the tour date, the traveler and/or customer will lose the non-refundable deposit.

 

Any refunds issued will be subject to applicable credit card transaction fees, which will be deducted from the total refund amount.

 

Any cancellations must be in writing.

 

Suppose you are traveling with a companion or fellow traveler; in the case of his/her cancellation, you will be subjected to additional fees and/or costs according to the terms and conditions of the hotel and services. You always have the option to find a new traveler for the tour. MGT Group LLC will not look for or try to find another travel companion.

 

Travel Protection: Travel insurance is mandatory for each customer and/or traveler. Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the trip. The customer and/or traveler are required to submit proof of Travel Insurance. MGT Group LLC does not provide travel insurance; this must be obtained independently by the customer and/or traveler. MGT Group LLC is not an insurance company and has no responsibility for the submission, payment, or adjustment of any insurance claims. Any insurance claims that may fall under the relevant travel insurance policy must be submitted to the insurance company identified in the policy.

 

Land Only: The tour is land only. Airline tickets and reservations are the responsibility of the customer/traveler, along with travel insurance, in the event of any changes and/or cancellations. MGT Group LLC will not be responsible for any changes to ground and/or air schedule changes. We will continue the tour as specified in the itinerary, and the customer/traveler will be responsible for joining the tour.

 

The pace of the tour: The customer and/or traveler understand that the tour requires walking on different surfaces and may include uneven surfaces, steep steps, or slopes. On some days, this tour has considerable walking. Also, the customer and/or traveler acknowledge that they are in good health, including the physical, emotional, and psychological condition to participate in the tour.

 

 

Physical Condition Requirement: To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, our European tours require that all customers be in good physical condition. Due to the nature of the itineraries, which often involve extensive walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, and navigating through historic sites, all participants must be able to walk independently. Please note that wheelchair assistance or mobility aids are unavailable or unsupported during these tours. By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and confirm that you meet these physical requirements.

 

Health and requirements: It is the customer and/or traveler's responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any health requirements, health advisories, or health travel restrictions applicable to their travel destinations and that they carry all necessary vaccination documentation, including but not limited to COVID-19. MGT Group LLC will not provide or be responsible for providing this information and/or its requirements.

 

Dietary Restrictions: While we strive to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences, it is important to note that our tour packages include general meals, which may not cater to all specific dietary restrictions or preferences. We cannot provide special meals or cover the cost of any additional food that falls outside the standard meal offerings. Participants with specific dietary needs are encouraged to make their own meal arrangements or bring suitable alternatives.

Passports: All individuals departing from any country must have a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended travel time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including, but not limited to, passports and visas, that meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destination.

 

Personal Information: The customer and/or traveler understands that they must provide personal information to enable the provision of tour services for this reservation, including processing payments, providing the minimum required information to suppliers and services, sending documentation, conveying important information about this trip, request feedback or evaluations of our services, send communications and/or to obtain consent to share personal information for all travelers on the reservation.

Consent to Use of Image: You authorize MGT Group LLC and its agents to photograph, videotape, audio record, duplicate, and/or otherwise record your image, voice, and likeness ("Images"). You acknowledge that MGT Group LLC owns all rights, title, and interest to Images. You irrevocably authorize MGT Group LLC and its agents to use, reproduce, display, publish, and distribute Images for any purpose on websites, publications, broadcasts, displays, and any other medium. You waive any right to inspect or approve Images or material that may be used with them now or in the future, whether that use is known to you or not. Similarly, if you provide us with any Images that you acquired of MGT Group LLC attendees, you authorize us to use those Images as described above.

You release MGT Group LLC and its agents from all liability arising from the use of Images, including but not limited to any claims arising out of your right of privacy or right of publicity and any claims based on any distortions or faulty mechanical reproductions. You understand that you will not be compensated for any use of Images.
